The Lavaman Triathlon and Sports Festival is an extravaganza of sports and fitness culminating in the Lavaman Triathlon Olympic Distance Triathlon. April 6th, 2008 will mark the 11th anniversary of the Lavaman Triathlon.
From its humble beginnings, the Lavaman experience has grown into a multi-sports festival, complete with a the Lavaman Youth Duathlon, and attracting athletes from all over the world. The Lavaman Triathlon was featured worldwide on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN) and incorporated into the OLN show, \"Triathlon World.\" as well as featured on numerous sports publications. American Tri Magazine named the Lavaman one of the best US races around. This year\'s event is gearing up to be as popular as ever!

1.5 K swim in Anaeho\'omalu Bay followed by a 40K bike ride on the famous Ironman course. The 10K run features varied terrain including single dirt track, coralline beach and lava rock trails.
Relay also available.
