| Description |
The swim begins off the Pacific Islands Resort and Hotel in the crystal clear waters of the southern end of the island, transitions into the bike for an extremely scenic course traversing the entire length of the island (15 miles), transitioning at Micro Beach onto the run, following a flat southern route along scenic Beach Road and the white sands of the western coastline, ending at Micro Beach. A portion of the run is shaded by ironwood trees and runs through historic American Memorial Park. A grand awards banquet follows that evening at the host Pacific Islands Club Resort with cash awards to pro's and awards to age group winners. |
