Cruisin the Conejo
Description The Conejo Valley Cyclists proudly presents the silver anniversary of its Cruisin’ the Conejo bicycle tour. CVC, in cooperation with BSA Troop 753, Cub Scout Pack 3753 and Whole Foods Market, offers our 25th year of this classic Southern California ride. All rides begin and end in the bicycle-friendly community of Thousand Oaks. The silver anniversary edition of Cruisin’ includes two guided rides for those new to road touring: Our inaugural Whole Foods Junior Tour is a 12-mile guided ride targeted at those of school age. We're also featuring a guided, supported version of our 21-mile valley tour. Check back frequently for more details on these new additions to the Cruisin' lineup. Again Cruisin’ offers the same extended route selection as past years: everything from a mild 12-mile junior tour to a challenging 103-mile century. And don't forget the 68-mile moderate metric century! This route is a little longer than our challenging metric, but it skips the big climbs into the Santa Monica Mountains.
