There is a rather amazing tour of Taiwan taking place between 9/25/09 and 10/3/09.
LA Tri Club members get a discount and most significantly will include free bike transport to/from Taiwan and reasonable bike rentals if you want to leave your jewel at home.
The tour goes through some breathtaking scenery including Tarako Gorge which is regarded as one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. Well, that and the world\'s best dumpling restaurant which is in Taipei.
Seems like a very well thought out tour with some good biking. The tour operators have also hinted that if they would be open to creating customized bike routes for travelers.
