Sierra Nevada Trail Marathon
Description The trail marathon (26.2 miles) is a point to point run staged along the North Fork of the American River Canyon. The course is 99% trails. Runners will leave from the south side of the school where the trail joins the American River Trail. Runners continue north on the trail towards Auburn, CA. Runners will pass through Granite Bay State Park, Twin Rocks, Horseshoe Bar, Rattlesnake Bar, Power Plant, Avery’s Pond, up Cardiac, and along the flume trail crossing Maidu Rd., before arriving at the Auburn Dam Overlook Aid Station.
